My friend highly recommended to visit the Lavender fields at Bridestowe estate. It was raining again when we arrived.
We thought that the lavender flowers were pretty small until someone told us we had to cross the field to see more mature flowers. It would have been perfect in full bloom; regardless, it was still so beautiful.

There was also a Lavender shop and cafe close to the lavender fields.
Pancakes with blueberry-lavender ice cream
The pancakes were so soft and fluffy. The lavender flavour was not as overpowering as I’d imagined. It reminded me of Taro/Ube ice cream, not just because of the colour but the taste too.
